Back when The Dallas Fam and I were just young recent college grads romping around Dallas, we joined a Waka Kickball League. I don’t think any of us knew what to expect. Would we suck? Probably. Would we be better at flipcup than kickball? Probably. Would we be hungover every Friday for over 5 season? Probably. Turns out, we loved it. Every Thursday night, we’d play 45 minutes of kickball, and then head to Milo’s, Dyer Street, Stan’s Blue Note for at least five too many pitchers of beer (and cheese fries).  It was amazing!

There have been kickball tournaments, All Star games, Flip Cup tournaments, Karaokee parties, and MANY theme nights (ie. Pacman, Tour de Fransia, Thriller, Mustaches, Jabbawockeez, Parents Night, and much more).  

I honestly don’t think any of us thought we’d step back on the field 5 years later to play yet another season as the Ball of Famers, but here we are… ready for another season. We’re older. We’re more out of shape. We drink less but will try to keep up with our 24 year old selves).

Here’s a quick little walk down the Ball of Famers memory lane.  You can expect to see ridiculous things like this every Friday for the next 8 weeks.
